Mandurah will turn up the sparkle this Christmas with a huge range of events, activities and family favourites for everyone to enjoy.
There is also an exciting new addition to the calendar to help people celebrate this festive season.
The Christmas in Mandurah program is set to see locals and visitors enjoy magical Christmas activities and events on Mandurah’s waterfront spaces.
This year, the City of Mandurah has welcomed Ray White Mandurah as the official naming sponsor of the Mandurah Christmas Lights Trail and the Mandurah Christmas Pageant, and Tourism Western Australia and Lotterywest have also come on board as funding partners.
Mandurah Christmas Lights Trail - Dec 1, 2022 – Jan 8, 2023
The Mandurah Christmas Lights Trail, presented by Ray White Mandurah, will light up the night from Thursday, December 1 with more than 25 amazing installations featured along the trail stretching from Smart Street Mall over to Mandurah Ocean Marina.
There will be favourites including the train, Christmas tree, reindeer, combi van and enormous Santa, plus the bright new addition of a huge Christmas castle for people to explore inside. There will be photo opportunities all along the trail, including a ‘selfie’ wreath to take the perfect Instagram snap, plus other crowd pleasers including a pirate ship, present boxes, stars, the Christmas countdown clock and sparkling Christmas trees floating in the Mandurah estuary.
The lights can be enjoyed up until Sunday, January 8, 2023 (inclusive).
While the Christmas lights are on display, there will be a number of attractions each night throughout December that the community can enjoy while out and about with family and friends. This includes buskers, carolling, roving performers and festive activities.
